Interests

In my spare time, you’ll find me in my garden, checking out a new restaurant or brewpub, or exploring the trails and waterways of the Island. I'm a muralist (Humanity In Art) and performance artist who loves to create and entertain. I find opportunities to build and contribute to my community wherever I can. Whether I'm on a project, a non-profit board, or kilometre 75 of the West Coast Trail, I approach everything I do with unrivalled passion and drive. (But seriously, while I was solo hiking the WCT, I thought about quitting about 500 times. But despite the snapped hiking pole, a pancake-sized blister, and a raven making off with my last meal, I kept going. I’m that person: If I say I’ll do it, I will get it done.)

It is with deep respect that I acknowledge my uninvited presence on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically, the Snuneymuxw First Nation. And while there can be no true reconciliation for what has been stolen, the land should be returned or the First Nations should be compensated for their loss.
